Hi everyone, I did an onsite with AWS Berlin around 2 weeks ago. My recruiting coordinator emailed me after a few days saying that my recruiter will be in touch regarding my interview feedback. After not hearing back for some days, I emailed both the recruiter and the recruiting coordinator to ask if there were any updates. The recruiting coordinator also forwarded my email to the coordinator and ccāed me asking my recruiter to help me out. Still didnāt receive any response from the recruiter. The online portal says my application is under consideration. Can someone suggest what to do in this case? I am also interviewing with other companies and expecting offers so I wonāt be able to wait too long. My current recruiter had took over from another recruiter who had contacted me originally. I checked and the old recruiter is still in AWS. Should I email my old recruiter instead? Or should i message the hiring manager on Linkedin? Thanks TC: 65K #swe #amazon #aws
Ask your internal contacts for HM alias and CC them and follow up again. Donāt restrict yourself, plus itās EU they should at least tell you something.
By alias do you mean HMās email? And thatās acceptable right? I donāt want to creep out the HM š
Yes his mail id. Thatās ok!! Donāt think too much..
Alright will do it then, thanks for the suggestion! :)
2 weeks is nothing, wait more. Amazon HR / recruiting sucks.
They donāt follow their SLA of 5 working days? Recruiter told me that i should get the result with in 5 days
Not unless you're lucky
EU recruiters ghost a lot.
Is that true even after a final loop? Iām in the same position. Online still says āunder considerationā, but radio silence for 10days after final loop.
Could be, i had my onsites in feb. Ex-amazonian here and till this date no updates and profile is still active as āunder considerationā I was trying to leverage additional offer in hand so that i can negotiate better with others. But donāt worry, just ask politely once again over email and if you donāt get reply. Then let it goā¦.
Thank you, good advice. Itās mind blowing how everything is centered around LPs and then candidates donāt even get the courtesy of a decline.
