Salesforce industry cloud vs Walmart adtech

Guys please help me choose Salesforce Industry Cloud Bangalore SMTS CTC : 45lacs INR base , 15% annual bonus and 90K USD. Industry cloud team, seems the tech stack is not great, the director mentioned that 60% is java, rest is apex and some data framework. Walmart Global tech : 47 lacs base + 6 lacs joining bonus + 25% annual bonus + 75k USD IN4 : Adtech team My preference is better tech stack and learning and growth opportunity over WLB. But WLB shouldn't be that bad that we can't enjoy life during weekend also. I am on CTC : 33 fix with 8 year experience. Please please please help guys 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻#walmart #salesforce

Join Walmart. Way better tech than you’d ever see in Industries Cloud

Calculate tc number and post

I don't think your Walmart ctc is correct. It doesn't pay rsu in usd. I highly doubt 47l base for in4 is possible. Assuming, what you have mentioned is correct, don't even think of joining Salesforce.

Bro it's 25% of base and 4lacs addition joining rsu/annum Yes it says senior software engineer in4

Go for it then. Salesforce tech stack is different and suits them. Walmart has much more open stack

Don’t join industries cloud if learning is your priority. Joined few months back and I regret doing it.

Salesforce mLfV01 Jan 13, 2022

Didn’t like the work. Every new hire has to go through training for 45 to 60 days where we build sample apps. After this you will be assigned to one of the verticals and there is no choice for you to choose a team. As far as I know there is zero distributed systems related work in any of the industries cloud teams. I don’t feel like any of the skills I learned here will be useful outside. I started searching for good teams at Salesforce so that I can switch after 3 to 4 months. Pay is good, if you want to rest and vest this is a good place.

I can totally feel it. People looking for “engineering” work should never choose Industries Cloud. If they do, they’re delusional and I feel sorry for them. If you want to rest and vest and prioritize a chill-the-fuck-out life, then this is the place.
