What happens when most of your team is Indian?
NYC can add amazing value to your life if you know how to play your cards. You might get tired eventually, but you’ll never be bored. In NYC you can find yourself, your identity and your future. Your life can be epic. That will most likely will never be the case with Seattle...
My friend Steve banged tons of hot chicks in Brooklyn then went back. He's a legend
My coworker took a cut of 12% in paycheck and an increase of $1k in rent for making 2 new friends and going out more often to bars.
I moved from NYC to Seattle. I think it depends on your personality- some people like space and cleanliness and some people revel in the dirty crowdedness of NY
Tell us the real reason why you moved. Not what the average crowd thinks.
Short story: because it looked nice. I was craving space & nature Long story: could write a novel about it tbh. Not sure if it was mistake yet
My guess is that few of the people who worship NYC on Blind have actually lived here.
So you recommend NYC or not?
SF > NYC > Seattle imo, having lived in all of them Banging girls who aren't relationship material gets old when you live in a deafeningly loud sh*thole with no park space and horrendously polluted air. I'd rather have a meaningful relationship and live in a nice place. Unlike SF where the grime is restricted to 4 neighborhoods, NYC is disgusting almost everywhere. If you've never banged any dumb hotties before or that's all you aspire to do in life, then try NYC for awhile. It isn't even that much easier when you have to pretend to like them. I've learned that the friends I have in any given city have a far greater impact on my dating life (and social life) than any other factor. That said, there are definitely pluses to NYC. If I weren't solely focused on tech and wanted to pursue a side artistic career, it's a far better place to be than SF or Seattle. The arts and music scenes here are killer.
Seattle freeze is real yo
