Joe Inzerillo joined SiriusXM + Pandora as a CTO and CPO in January this year. In the last 7 months, he has hired more then 50 people as VP or SVP from Disney. But the weirdest thing is he is hiring everyone at least as a VP. It doesn’t matter how much experience they have and what their title was at Disney. Is that normal at other companies? We are so top heavy now. We have VPs reporting into VPs reporting into another VP. And none of the new hires report into previously existing leader. I have never seen something like this. This is happening where I'm at now as well. No name place, it's obvious they've decided to change but have hidden the reason and meaning. Getting a new job sounds like the right advice.
