Rivian reorg and layoffs this week
There was a reorganization at Rivian this week, accompanied by layoffs. The result of silo-ing and leadership failure. Not sure how many jobs cut, at least in the dozens.

Across locations? Any particular department? What have they accomplished to be trimming?? Unless those were always on the hit list.
People denying layoff to save their stock options I guess. Rivian got their bumper IPO and first earnings call was not good. Missed targets. So for next earnings call they need to show something better. Headcount reduction is part of reducing costs.
