Asking for a friend. So my friend who's in tcs right now has cracked a job in Oracle. Oracle Financial Services Team name: FlexCube Role: Technical Consultant Location: Chennai My total exp: 3 years Did well in interview, got the offer verbally. Waiting for actual comp structure. Update : the HR told the TC would be around 10LPA. Is this right? It feels like being low-balled. Also how about other components like sign-in bonus and stocks? Current tc - 4.7lpa What TC can I expect ? Update : she accepted the offer and joined. 10lpa
Oracle Financial Services is a subsidiary of Oracle and pays very little compared to its parent. The TC jump isn’t going to be very high (40% max) + poor benefits (Oracle benefits don’t apply). Also, do tell you friend that annual increments are 4% for everyone and 7% for the top performer. No defined promotion cycles also. Questionable WLB.
Thanks for the answer. I have added an update. Can you pls check if it's correct band?
It’s actually a top of the band offer. I repeat - He is an Oracle Financial Services hire, and not a Oracle hire. The hiring bar is much lower, has a separate office (not a part of the main Oracle’s campus), no stock options and none of other Oracle benefits like fitness/WIFI reimbursement and so on. Up to 15% consulting bonus. There’s no JB afaik.
