My girlfriend who is finishing up a coding bootcamp is going be applying for SWE jobs soon. Mostly applying for entry level or intern level. Would buying leetcode premium help or is there better ways? #leetcode #tech TC: 🥜
Just get CTCI, she’ll get overwhelmed by leetcode without any underlying DS and Algo background
Just recommended. Thank you! How is it working at Bolt?
This is a good advice, also tell her OP, to do the training parts in leetcode. And do mock interviews with her
Worth

Worth
Why worth? Does it make it easier to understand? I hear CTCI would that be a better approach for understanding?
LC premium -> search by popular questions for a company, run code with compiler, ‘mock’ rounds, easy to fit in when you have a free 30 mins. CTCI will be better content to methodically work through her first time around, but ideally get both
I 100% agree with you. She’s pushing back on me for leetcode premium, but warming up to the idea of CTCI
Think about the ROI and you'll have your answer.
CTCI is a waste of money. Get leetcode premium, do the training modules and big tech specific modules (only available in premium) also to start, tell her to learn these patterns: https://hackernoon.com/14-patterns-to-ace-any-coding-interview-question-c5bb3357f6ed (these are all from Grokking the Algorithm, designguru website)
Thanks man!
you're paying 160$ to help you land you a 6 figure job
What about free code camp? They have a data structure and algorithms course. She’s thinking about buying CTCI afterward
You can just search CTCI pdf on google and it can give you the PDF. No need to pay for it.
Good idea and will do that first
Yes
