Another poll states Chinese people ask harder interview questions. But that statement doesn't have a firm ground. Although this industry has a higher ratio of Chinese people working in the us, we Chinese are always suffering from false accuses like this. Other threads in LinkedIn accuse Chinese employees of being rude and steal food from kitchen. I am so fed up with this situation. Whenever any individual is a jerk (or maybe such individual doesn't even exist), there's a tradition of generalize it and use the incident as an accuse of the entire Chinese people. Things are totally different when it come to other race or ethnic groups. What did people say when a terrorist attack happened? It's just him being retard, not the entire group! This need to stop.
In the past month I have seen posts against Chinese, Indian, Mexican. These posts are trolling posts. They divide people with races and revoke fights among them. The right way to handle those posts is to report them as troll instead comments on them and insult some other people as those evil ops wish you do. It's sad most people cannot tell what trolling is. It's even more sad that even some people know it's trolling, they just want to catch the chance to do some bullying.
its fun to see people who feel that they can change some thing by seeing what they post changes the views ! no one seeks truth now a days !
Sorry. What is an accuse? Do you know - Indians and chinese are thought to have high propensity to make mistakes while writing? When are you writing against gross generalization and trying to protect your people, can you spend time to fix what you write? By not being careful, you are going to provide more fodder to the masses ...
Tradition? This has applied pretty much to every ethnic group. You are probably selectively seeing all the instances of it happening to Chinese.
Accusations. Not accuse. Needs to stop. Not need to stop. Do I need to point out more examples?
Textbook racism
What.. isn't a poll with enough votes statistically significant to make a generalization?
Indian here- Chinese colleagues get less credit for their good work, IMO.
Someone mentioned there are some racism posts in some Chinese forums. But very few people replied. What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others. --Confucius I am Chinese. Gave two Indian friends referrals to Google and one Indian friend to Facebook.
