Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
Average annual savings: divide total individual net worth (in USD) by years since age 21 e.g. PhD, $4MM / (age 45 - 21) = 167k Weighted mean* per highest level of education, based on data collected so far: bachelors = 158k/year masters = 122k/year PhD = 195k/year *: middle of bucket, est. $350k for highest bucket
This is actually useless poll. Since you have added compounded gains which someone 24 yr old won't have.
Actually no, that's part of the goal here - to measure accumulated compound gains vs increase in income due to education level over a career. And if you are under 40 years old, please do not vote (or select the first option).
I have a negative net worth. This poll is not inclusive.
if x < 0, since 0 < 50, then x < 50; so choose <50k/year option
Not inclusive to sjws who can’t do math :)
Please remember if you’re over 40, your net worth is no longer solely based on your main source of income. Income properties and other business adventures are adding to your overall net worth. Diversity, my millennial friend, is the key.
These idiots just dump it all into Robinhood where it could disappear in the blink of an eye.
When you get sick of buying Tesla’s and extra crap that you throw out in 5 years, you have the sobering reality of why am I really working? Maximizing earning years, taking more time off, and retiring young. That is when you finally get the grind.
This has so much noise. Married equal/for love/ for money/ divorced. Where you live. Kids or not. Which school you go to. You have side gigs or not. How much of your net worth is pre tax, liquid etc.
not highly correlated w.r.t. education level, i.e. the interaction effects are weak, so it's not a problematic confounding variable
All that and more make this meaningless. There are many parameters
Ha I fall into the masters: 50k-100k ... isn’t life just a big ol scam??!
0 student debt?
Lol no, plenty of student loan
Damn what y'all doing that you're putting away $300k per year?
I realized I should probably feel bad now
Flagged this poll. Total waste of time.
If you don't have time to calculate a simple division, you don't have to vote. Why react so angrily?
Don’t worry OP I flagged his post, I got you
This poll doesn't spark joy
🙄
