What's your take on Guidewire - 2021 edition
Been hearing about this company at work (context: Workday Financials). I came across some posts from 2020, but wonder how things are there right now. If someone could comment on the cloud data platform teams, that'd be great. Thank you. I'm looking for a potential move this year so been doing some research. #tech #compensation #hiring #jobopening
Pros - CDP has best Tech stack - Best team at Guidewire - junior engineer can make difference.Opportunity to learn architecture - Manager(L1 was good - VP is highly respected by engineers - Architect is very likable and knowledgeable - my Product manager was great but she recently quit - Heard this group pays well. I joined 3 years ago when this new team did not exist. When i was leaving they were ready to give a good raise Cons - Overly fast moving - FAANG level interview bar but pay not at same level in Bay Area - Production support and deployment with fast moving development can be difficult
