Elon Musk is locking you out of the office to layoff half of you? Take matters into your own hands, and stop working even if not laid off. Demand your colleagues' job security. He will fold or go down so fast & you can make 10 year salary off shorting TSLA. (his shares are collateral & will liquidate if he defaults)
*this* it will work if everyone does it
50% are losing their jobs, it's coin toss, they might as well go down fighting
They should mobilize with TSLA and SpaceX (both have had serious working condition issues). If only there was a communication platform to coordinate.
Twitter?
Not in America! everybody is selfish as hell!
Most people like Musk. Saw a huge poll that said only 2/10 people don’t. I know, it’s world-view shattering. I’m sorry.
Where? A survey paid & bought by him?
I mean it was on twitter so I’m sure someone will strawman that argument. This poll with over a million votes. It’s from an account that seems verifiably neutral. https://twitter.com/politics_polls/status/1586782981657690112?s=46&t=0KYZZVdpT5nE3oZQ5bOL5g
If Twitter cuts 50% and sees no change, every company is gonna start getting ideas
Oh it will go down, Musk is a moron. He doesn't know how much work it is to run a compliant social media.
I believe both a) Twitter is an insanely complicated operation and b) Twitter has more employees than it needs Not picking on Twitter, I think it’s true for every megacorp
Come on 🤣
She’ll be pregnant soon
He is still going to fire her . 🤡
A strike with 50% of unnecessary positions? Good luck
50% layoff will make it understaffed, even if another 25% add it will be a disaster.
Eng departments have a lot of long term initiatives, so as much as 80-90% can be cut and skeleton crew left to support the infrastructure. In the short-term that is, they will need to expand back to drive anything forward, but no immediate shut down possible
Not going to happen. A lot of people are out over their skis just based on recent market conditions. Couple that with layoffs at big tech and the certain knowledge that Musk has and will union bust. US tech workers aren't particularly solidarity minded to begin with. Wish it were otherwise, but labor action at big tech is a huge stretch.
Half of tech employees depend on their job to stay in the country so definitely not happening.
Heard of at will employment?
Low iq idea
Genius working for shitty cab company...
