Hi, I currently have 3 competing offers Square: ~300k TC, expiring in Dec Airbnb: Waiting for headcount (estimated Jan), but passed interview Fb: ~310k TC I don't really want to join Fb due to WLB. My main dilemma is whether to wait for Airbnb offer (and let the Sq offer expire), in which case I can continue to interview for more companies. Looking for any feedback on the current offers, and if (& where) I should keep interviewing? YoE 5
Can you tell us for which level ? E4,E5 ?
Square is a decent company. I'd go for it.
Team chemistry is very important, esp since comp is not too different. Make sure you have a sense for that before accepting
So, 1. TC 2. Team 3. Culture (WLB) 4. Growth Am I missing something? 🤔
Not sure where else you can keep interviewing. You have got offers from some of the best companies in the valley already. Good work!
Airbnb team match can be lengthy/tricky as managers are sometimes careful about who they fill their headcounts with. Keep that in mind but obviously YMMV.
This is probably especially true in this (IPO) year
I thought with 5 yoe, you would atleast get 350k?
Square is an awesome company. However different teams offer different kinds of opportunities? Which team did you get an offer for? Message me and I can help evaluate the team.
I guess the team you're joining will depend on the available headcount. I would expect our offer will be strong (assuming L4?), but I would make sure you're joining a team you're really interested in
Join Square directly, u dont need to wait airbnb

Most of the deadlines are superficial. Square is public though so real stock value. Btw are you based in SF or NY?
I'm based in SF and interviewing only for SF companies ATM
