Leaving Bayarea and thining of San Diego

Relocated to the Bayarea in 2015, and can’t keep up with the ecnomy growth in the Bay. Plus other factors such as commute, housing, etc. I’m thinking of relocating to San Diego and start looking for opportunites. Need some Blind community advises regrading San Diego in general.

San Diego is good. Bunch of my friends moved there and are staying there permanently. Really enjoyable food, beaches and weather.

San Diego is incredible. Entire extended family is down there and I'd live there in a heartbeat if I relocated.

Suggestions on companies to look at there?

Companies (off the top of my head): - Apple, Google, Amazon all have satellite offices here - Qualcomm, ServiceNow, Intuit, Illumina, Viasat - Defense contractors have a big presence: Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, General Atomics, BAE, Navy has a lot of research here too

TC is lower in SD, but housing cost is lower too. Still an expensive city, but not Bay Area expensive.
