I’m one of the creators of chipdev.io, a leetcode style website for hardware interview practice using System Verilog. We’ve gotten some feedback from our users that mock interviews would be a useful service for people as they gear up for interviews at “FAANG” type companies, so we’re starting with a very lightweight experiment. We’ve recruited some friends in the industry with interview experience (right now we have a few folks from Apple and NVidia, but are working on getting Meta, Qualcomm and a few others), and we created a Google form where people can sign up. This is the form: https://tinyurl.com/4mk36bpa To start with we’re not taking any margin, the costs you see on this form are the prices that our friends are asking for their time and expertise. If you’re interested, let us know? If you think it’s a terrible idea/too expensive also let us know, we really just want feedback from the community to see if this is something we should build up. Thanks. #hardware #interview
Good idea but bit expensive, especially when you don’t know if it’ll be worth it.
Thanks for the feedback, we’ll discuss this with our interviewers. I’m sure some would be willing to lower their prices.
your question list dont open.
https://chipdev.io/question-list seems fine to me - what are you seeing?
hmm .. works on edge .. not on chrome
Why only hardware interviews?
https://interviewing.io/ is an equivalent in software. That being said we have some interviewers who do algorithm interviews as part of the hardware interview loop
Interviewing.io is expensive option. I would choose you if u support coding interviews
This is a great useful ressource. Is there any DV stuff?
Yes! Most of our interviewers are DV right now :)
TC,YOE?
Looks expensive. 6 Yoe guy charging 95 bucks for 1hr.
I hate this idea of LC, work and interviews are already very different and with LC the gap only increases
For anyone that comes across this, we have updated pricing based on your feedback. All interviews are now $79.99, click the banner on chipdev.io to sign up 😀.
Awesome! I have a lot of friends looking for resources like this, will forward to them.
