Hi folks, What is the TC for lead solution engineer in salesforce in San Francisco area. Sfdc implementation experience - 8 years. IT Industry experience - 22 years. Thanks in advance!
That's a good idea.I will look into EA as well. I am not sure if solution architect roles exist in sfdc. I will look them up. Thanks. Do EA/SA get compensated better than a comparable SE role?
Did you ever get an answer?
I’m a lead SE at salesforce. Comp is ~200. One additional component to my comp is RSUs
there is lots of latitude in the bands. Upper end lead around 245 not including stock. There are enterprise architect and technical architect roles yes, depending on the location. Their split is different, the SE role is a 70/30 split wheres the architects are base plus bonus percentage. Comparable title for architect role has higher upper end of the band.
70/30 off $245 (upper end lead) ? Or $245+ 30% x$245 = ?
It’s the next level up from Senior Solution Engineer. Here are the Senior salaries: https://www.paysa.com/salaries/salesforce--senior-solution-engineer This average is in line with my experience (~200k). I’m not sure how much the bump will be to lead, however, and Paysa doesn’t have data on it. What role are you coming from at Amazon?
Thanks for the reply. 4 years in Amazon. Miz.of PM and TPM - 2..5 years -Architected/implementated ands massively scaled up global sales org. - 1.5 years - project managed global services org. I'm currently based in Seattle.
It should be noted that SE at Salesforce is pure technical sales, no implementation like there sometimes is at other companies. It’s very high-level visioning/ solutioning and basic demoing; pretty light in terms of what you need to know from a technical and implementation perspective. You might also look at Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architect roles, to better take advantage of your experience
