At which company are you employed, and do you work on weekends (>50% of the time)?
Please add OCI.
I cannot, as there is a maximum limit of 20 options (and they cannot be edited after posting). But you can make a new poll.
This poll is biased. All the amazon employees are too busy working to respond with yes. Except for the managers of course
Tbh, I would be more concerned about standard errors here due to the small sample sizes rather than bias. If we compare across companies, the super-focused nonstop workaholics are unlikely to be on Blind regardless of where they work (Amazon or not), so it's not systematically unfair in that sense.
I think it was meant as a joke / dig against Amazon.
Breaking news *** Amazon - no *** is trending
and only a minority (~25% of Amazon respondents so far) work on weekends, contrary to what some people might have thought...
In Amazon, if you are ok with average rating, you don't have to work on weekends. If you need exceeds or outstanding rating, you might have to.
This will be the case in most places
Fuck no. I can do my job in 35 hours a week. Keep your head down and code.
Now all we need is the blind company distribution.
Why? Can’t we just compare percentages intracompany?
Did Lyft get their blind access cut? 0 responses so far...
Non-technical work 55+ hours at LinkedIn
Never so far
I made this post because there is too many broad/vague speculation without actual data from current employees. From each company, you can take the ratio (or %) of employees who work over weekends as one metric on wlb; hours per week (e.g. >40) is yet another - which can be in a different poll.
