Gambling problem, please advice
Hi All, I have lost most of my savings recently by buying some bad trading options. I went from 350-> 650-> 175 this year. These are actual losses as options have expired now. I was hoping to buy a house this year but looks like I can’t even pay downpayment. Please advise me on how to overcome this gambling problem. I feel that I have cheated my family and I am going into depression. (My wife is not aware of past gains or current losses) YOE:12 TC: ~400k

I want to do that, but something inside me keep me pushing, this time I will make money. Surely I need do better job on self control.
@op learn from past mistakes. Stop trading options or individual stocks for that matter. Its never too late to start over. Your tc is good so you are good

Is your wife aware of what was there before?
My journey in crypto: $100k -> $500k -> $0. You just have to stay positive and avoid such mistakes again. Your TC is good, you’ll overcome this.

Best advice I can give (from my own experience) is to stop trading for a while and come back later. If you continue you would want to try to recover your loss, and with that thought in mind you cannot make correct buy/sell decisions. So, stop for a while, forget your loss, stay positive, realize where you made mistakes and come back when you feel better.
