My recent interview experience with Atlassian for P5 role was very bad: 1. Had to call recruiter after every round to schedule next rounds. Isn't he supposed to do that? (I called after 2-3 days) And it was not due to bad feedback - got Strong Hire in 4 rounds and Hire call in 1 round. 2. It's already more than 10 days when he informed about positive feedback but still no update on team and offer. I have already called him twice and don't want to call now. Everytime he says - he's looking for a team that matches my profile. 3. They f*cking ask same question to everyone. And they asked same to me - and that's the partial reason I was able to do good. 4. Their interviewers are either dumb or prejudiced. In every round, I could sense that they were looking for some pre-determined solutions. Any innovation/ other solution felt wrong to them. Is this only me or Atlassian is really that bad? #tech #interview
Glad to be not a alone victim of this crap. PS - got hire in all rounds ( may be SH in system design) but got rejected in debrief because somehow HM didn't my like technical abilities and suggested strong no hire.
I had a similar experience for P4. Instead of 10 days, it has been more than a month since I got the positive feedback.
Seems like you got a bad recruiter. No comments regarding the interview process though.
OP, what coding and sys design questions were asked? Am preparing for a P5 interview as well
Got asked same questions and similar experience as you. Their interviewers are inexperienced. One of them was not interested the whole interview and even though I did well, got negative feedback.
Don't worry mate. They didn't deserve you.
