I had multiple people direct message me, and say I should make a topic solely based on answering questions on how the crime works in Mexico because of my background and connections from studying out in Mexico.
Did el chapo pay off Nancy Pelosi?
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised. Something insanely crazy, one of Mexico’s former president named Carlos Salinas de Gortari invested so much money with stolen government money and cartel pay offs into the dow Jones. He was supposedly named, “ a member to the board”
🍿
How violent is Tijuana really?
Insanely. I think last weekend there was like 16 executions
Have you ever visited it?
Does Mexico consider Chipotle as an IP theft?
I’m calling immigration right now, your becoming Mexican citizen. We’re preparing a parade for your arrival.
Random fact: burritos actually come from state of Sonora but has a completely different name which is Percherones.
How much of Narcos Mexico reflects reality? 90, 95 or 100%?
100% true, obviously some events were added but everything was true. My great uncle was actually a shareholder in Rafa huge marijuana field and yes, that guy was super bipolar. Currently, Rafa owns one of the most expensive pieces of land in all of Jalisco. When I studied down in Guadalajara, I befriend his niece and I shit you not I have a video of me in a harvard jacket at this very exclusive private party with a live Banda and dancing horses.
Narcos Mexico is I would say 70% true. There are many dramatizations and some non-existent characters added. For example, “Salvador Osuna Nava” is a based on Jose Antonio Zorrilla, who spent 20+ years in jail was freed in 2013 and not murdered by Felix Gallardo as depicted in the show. Also, “el Azul” never led the DFS. Also, I would take anything that OP says with a grain of salt. He seems to idolize narcos. True Mexicans hate narcos and believe that they’re a cancer in society. We look down on them and they will never be accepted in social circles. Sorry OP, I come from a wealthy Mexican family and this is how we see narcos.
How can one buy guns in Mex as a gringo?
Buy them illegally like the Romney family. Shout out to my fellow Mormons lol. They’re super hard to buy legal even if your a Mexican citizen. Also, there’s only one gun store in all of Mexico which is located in Mexico City. There’s laws for Mexicans citizens such as you have 24 hours to register the weapon in your residing state or it’s deemed illegal. Also, you need to be part of a gun club.
So how much is a modern full auto rifle? Something like FN P90?
What did Mexican criminals do to Trump? What caused his vendetta?
I’m actually a trump supporter, he’s just protecting his country as best as he can. I’m for the wall to keep out immigrants but at the same time I’ve been shown that the wall will only be an excuse to increase the prices of drugs because 80% of the drugs sent to the United States are sent through the line.
Don‘t you think the wall is nonsense that was promised because Trump‘s advisers knew they would never be able to build it? Also, it does nothing to keep people and let alone drugs out. They just fly in
If I want to spend sometime enjoying there. Wh@t places do you suggest?
I’m a huge nightlife guy, so I’m always in Guadalajara/zapopan. There’s always a party or somewhere to go. I would recommend a group called Capital Travel, it’s a bunch of young 20-25+ girls🤤, who show you the best places to party.
True story... In Cancun, hotel zone and left my $200 coach wallet on the transport bus that had $400+ in cash and credit cards. Buss dude brought it back to resort within 15-20 minutes with everything in tact. Gave him a $100 tip and he was floored and super grateful. Not all Mexico is bad, good people everywhere
This is also very true, what I’ve noticed about crime in Mexico is its only a very small amount of people who are doing the crime. A general rule in most parts in Mexico, nothing will happen to you as long as your not involved in local crime. Once my idiot ex business partner left my backpack in a uber with my brand new $2,500+ Apple laptop & my social security card. The Uber brought it back and I gave him a $100 tip as well.
'Not all Mexico is bad'. No shit Sherlock. Vast majority of Mexico is not bad actually.
How bad the crimes are in Tijuana? Do drug cartels launder money through HSBC?
Tijuana is mexico most dangerous city, I would highly not recommend going at all. I’m really close friends with a kid who’s about 20 years old, American born who’s currently a multi-multi millionaire. About a month ago he invited me to a Beverly Hills party. Yes, but they mainly use high end restaurants and nightclubs. My girlfriend family is close to the owners of the best nightclubs in Mexico, and she was confirming the rumors I heard that the family was laundering money through these clubs.
Blow my mind
