Doe is playing victim card. He joined in 2015, problem started in a year, got a new manager in 2018 and again had same issues. Also in software companies, no one asks about your caste either in India or in US.
No one "asks" about your caste but everyone functions, works, befriends and promotes by caste. Just like racism in America, casteism in India works silently yet oh so smoothly. Go talk to someone from a lower caste. Your opinion is ignorant.
I feel I didn’t get promoted because I’m left handed. Can I sue?
Cisco has a pretty bad reputation in the industry long before this lawsuit, they are on par with Samsung but opposite.
It's disgusting.. glad they got sued.
Wait is this Indian employee discriminated by Indian employee?
Indians can easily be the worst when it comes to mistreating fellow Indians (chaste, religion based)
Indian version of white supremacy..😂
There is no white supremacy, it is the practice of racism, nepotism and discrimination by Indians in Cisco and among themselves
Anybody can sue anybody, welcome to America! Means nothing till you have a decision.
Did you read the whole article ??
This is the only time I hear about caste lawsuit in the US. Cisco does have a pretty bad reputation about its culture before the lawsuit, so I would not just say it is automatically bogus.
