Based on levels.fyi im guessing 1-5 yoe: 450k 5-15 yoe: 550k 15+ yoe: 600k Phd research in video compression, lead on vp9, and major startup founder: 2mm+ Does this sound accurate?

PhD is good to have but is neither a pre-requisite nor a guarantee for hitting high tc. Open source helps me to look at your code and decide whether you can be hired or not. That way your open source experience is more useful for you.
