Just got my offer rescinded by Coinbase. Need referrals.
Was about to join Coinbase as an “Engineering Manager - Salesforce” on Monday and I hear from their leadership that my offer got rescinded along with hundreds of others. Resigned my current job a while ago for a gap of one week vacation and now I’m unemployed. This is totally unexpected. Any referrals are appreciated. This is a strange thing happening across the industry. It’s almost like they are scaring us from switching jobs, therefore keeping wages down. Definitely sounds like something Musk would devise. Sorry to hear this, OP.
It's actually partially intentional, the Fed is literally trying to increase unemployment. Too many openings = low unemployment = upward wage spiral = inflation. There’s no way coinbase would want this. It just sent them to amazon tier for the next several years. No one in a cushy faang job would resign in fear that this would happen to them now.
