99k pound base and 154k $ stock. How to negotiate this offer? I don't have any competing counter offer.
In London, you won’t be able to without a higher counter offer: FB still pays top of the market (and this offer is exactly that). Only places that I’ve seen able to compete are Google in Zurich and Uber in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, Uber pays higher for L5, plus our stock is quite undervalued when issued IMO. Typical L5 offer here is same base (but you get 20% more net due to better tax if you’re an expat) and higher stock (the stock valuing Uber around $60B, my expectation being the IPO double that next year).
Do you know any Uber offers from Amsterdam? SDE2 and L5 SDE?
TC for a recent L5 offer was around EUR 170K (base 100-110K EUR). For L4 TC was around EUR 125K (base 80-90K). For all of these the stock is given at the internal valuation that I personally expect to be at least 50% higher with the IPO and double on a good day).
OP, is the stock in USD? And per 4 years or per year?
I know a guy who got £100k base and $250k stock for E5. So, I guess you can push more on stock.
E5 is wide band
@OP. Where are you working now? In the US or UK only? AFAIK, it is hard to negotiate without a counter offer.
Low ball, should bump the stock up to $175-200.
99k wtf why not make it 100k lol
thats not the answer to my question :)
