Yahoo!
Two years ago I was getting recruiters bombard me with offers across the nation! Since Yahoo is acquired by Verizon - I get absolutely nothing. Like no joke! I don’t even get responses from the jobs I apply. I know Yahoo does not have good reputation. Is it this bad though? Help!
Not @ Yahoo anymore but I feel like people have a perception that the 'talent' already left and whoever is still there just want a cushy/lifer job.

If my recruiter sent a candidate profile to me who is currently working at Yahoo, I would try to find a new recruiter.

I hope to get out soon. I am trying and applying so many jobs. Everyday I spend 4-5 hours only reviewing and applying for jobs. Very sad!
Why are you unhappy at Yahoo?
Not growing, not building, it is all about integration. It is all about hanging on to the lost revenue and missed targets over and over! My 5th year here. I have met with incredible talent, they all left. I feel like I should have but ai had been compensated 2x of what I would make elsewhere hence stayed here. I feel like my career is dead
I was in the same boat but decided to take a pay cut to join another company. I do miss my paycheck but only time will tell if I made the right decision. Your career is definitely not dead though.
