Amazon industry l4 sde 1 and l5 sde 2 offers are much higher than 2 to 3 years ago? How are they managing the income disparity between new and existing employees? Is pip and ura quota higher? I wonder how layoffs will be during recession? They still have a lot of head count and job market is decent... TC:160K
You’re only getting PIPd if you are a biitch and have shiit work ethic honestly
So all of Blind. It took me some time to realize that everyone here wants to be paid $$$ but not actually do any work otherwise they call it “toxic/bad WLB”. Lol
With all that money they have—that’s how. Amazon makes a shit ton of money.
Their offer TCs largely depend on RSUs and they'll PIP you before they fully vest so you're not getting the full amount shown.
This isn't true. TC is the same for 4 years and the first two you get a cash signing bonus, paid essentially like base, to balance out the RSU difference. In fact, I prefer the earlier years comp model over the latter years. The weird irrational fetish for RSUs on Blind is crazy here and you all don't even know how to do the arithmetic before you pull comments like these out of your ass.
TC is NOT same for 4 years. It is true only if you assume stock will rise 15% (or some % i don’t remember anymore) every year. It looks like you don’t know how to read #s from your contract
