My wife tells me I’m wasting valuable bathroom time in the morning shaving (we live in a small SF apt with 2 young kids and 1 bath). She’s probably right. An electric shaver would let me shave at work. But I’m wondering if there are any that won’t leave my skin irritated etc. I don’t want to buy one and find out it sucks. (I assume I can’t return it after using it). I shave every other day. Have somewhat rough stubble. I’m a grown up. I can’t grow a hipster beard. (This isn’t the 18th century FFS). This is super “Misc.” I know. But that’s why it’s blind.
Depends on the quality of the hair. It didn’t work for me.
Just grow a beard
and get frisked at airports?
TSA can barely handle it current amount of work. If they had to frisk every bearded man they see no one would ever fly anywhere.
My skin gets irritated easily and the OneBlade works well for me. It’s not a close shave, though, but it’s good enough
Interesting. Closeness vs Irritation are inversely proportional?
+1 for oneblade
I’ve tried a bunch and the ones that don’t irritate your skin don’t shave close enough. This one has been hella good so far though: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D328BG6
Braun Series 7. Got one a year ago and wish I had picked one up sooner. Shaves almost as close as a razor and no irritation.
They're amazing. Buy a good one. I have a Remington waterproof one and i shave in the shower in less than 2 minutes
Worth it. Philips Norelco. Try for one week before giving up due to irritation - since I have a rough hair, it took one week to get adjusted. It’s been 10 years and a game changer. Tons of money and time saved!!
Nice! Which model?
Costco one
Yes electric shaver is a definite game changer, doesn’t irritate my skin at all
Which brand do you use?
