Greetings from Seattle. In general, where do you find co-founders for a startup? My friends and coworkers aren't qualified/don't have the skills I need, so I'm at a loss of where to turn. Anyone have experience with this? Would it be better to just hire people? Thanks in advance.
Maybe try moving to Silicon Valley? I do feel like I get to meet more brilliant people there comparing to Seattle
Yeah... But living expenses, etc... There's got to be scene here in Seattle
Tinder
What’s ur pitch?
Ecommerce, picking up Amazon's slack. Not just another shopping site though, I have some really cool features never been done before. Targeting a different kind of shopper.
Let me ask a related question: what skills should one look for in a cofounder? Assuming you have technical background, what skills foy you expect from the cofounder?
Good question but just the opposite. I have the business plan, sales, marketing, ops etc but would need a chief technical person to bring it to life.
. Everything not technical. Marketing sales branding. Also what's your idea. Not as co-founder but I'm willing to put time (not ft, just spare time) into developing cool ideas with ppl in Seattle.
What comp would you be expecting? I need more technical accumen than business at this particular point.
If i believe you have an idea I will be do weekends and spare time for some equity. Pm me if you want to start :)
