Wealthfront strategy
If I were to invest 50k in wealthfront: A) is it better to split it two accounts (25k each between my wife and I) to get the free 15k management on each account? Or B) put it all in one account and try to reach 100k faster to get to other benefits such as direct index investing etc.
Or join Thumbtack and get 100k managed for free
(B) is the correct answer. 15k free is just worth $37 a year. That's peanuts. Direct indexing will pay back way more than 37 bucks.
How do you get 75k free with google? Is that for google employees

C) Find suckers who you can send referral to, convince them to invest with wealthfront, get more free managed money
Btw, I think Betterment referral program is so much better than Wealthfront. 3 referrals gives you a full year free. I have 600k there so that saved me $1,500. 1 referral in Wealthfront gives you 12 bucks / year.
