Trump campaign thought Russian spies were "friends"

Bannon, trying to make nice with Trump, just said this: "My comments were aimed at Paul Manafort, a seasoned campaign professional with experience and knowledge of how the Russians operate... He should have known they are duplicitous, cunning and not our friends." So he is acknowledging that Trump's campaign manager viewed the Russian spies they met with in Trump tower as friends of the campaign. So much for claiming there was no collusion!!!
