Are men intimidated by women who are more successful than them? Either higher title, salary or perceived intelligence.
Only losers get intimidated. Or those who are insecure.
Not intimidated, attracted to.
No different from a man in a position of power over me. But thatâs not to say I donât feel intimidated. I donât feel less or more intimidated based on the gender.
No gender bias - in fact there should be more respect for women who balance work & family as equal as men.
I find it interesting that every time someone responds to someone else on blind, it is assumed the poster is a man. Unless the poster specifies they're a woman. Men may not be intimated by women, but they also don't naturally recognize women's success.
It's not really all that interesting, most folks on blind are men so it's a reasonable starting assumption.
Most folks? Like 80% maybe 90%? The assumption just erases us as if we don't matter. It may seem like no big deal, but those are the death-by-a-thousand-cuts that make women and minorities feel forgotten by Tech.
Most studies show that women don't want to work for other women. So I would ask the women themselves.
citation or conclusion didnât actually happen?
Am male. Not at all intimidated. Glad and happy irrespective of gender. Anyway, these are considered feminine qualities. In Hinduism, Saraswati is Goddess of knowledge and intelligence, Lakshmi is Goddess of wealth, and Shakti is goddess energy/power.
I think women like that are hot! Please intimidate me!!
In current environment just cautious around any org climbers. I take what they say with a grain of salt and try to avoid setting myself up for some baseless accusations, but other than that no problem at all.
No. Any difference among folks on Blind would be nominal as most men on here are fairly successful. Maybe ask someone not working at an elite tech company. Still, no.
