What is the fastest way to learn SQL? Intermediate level. How and any online resources?
MOOCs. Udacity, Coursera etc
The Microsoft virtual academy courses are pretty good and go into the theory too. I also like the Oreilly SQL Cookbook. It's good if you need to level up on the commands really quick. I keep it on hand for the times I occasionally write a sql query
Fastest way to learn is to get a SQL job and a tight deadline.nothing bests that...
Unfortunately this is true. It’s how I learned. All the work I did in excel pivot tables and vlookups helped tremendously. Being able to visualize in your head the data your are manipulating is like 80% of the work.
That explains some of the problems with databases catching fire
sql is a tool. under what context do you wish to use it?
sqlzoo is a good start
Download Oracle into your subconscious mind like in the matrix. Few seconds. Interesting how you want to learn SQL at intermediate level. Whatever happened to the beginner level? And google. It offers you more than you need.
Clearly, you don't understand how superlative adjectives work. 'Fastest' could mean 6 months or even 6 years. I didn't say - give me that in 6 minutes. Well, nevermind.
You can learn the basics fast. If you can churn down any decent book overnight, you get the basics. How you learn intermediate and advanced skills is totally up to you and I'd say these skills mostly come with experience rather than reading some tutorials.
