Religions of Blind

Just curious what people's faiths are. Will be interesting to see how this compares to the general population. Please keep comments civil, no trolling or bashing others.

Agnostic should be separate from Athiest. Athiesm is just another religion.

Amazon Jeff Pesos OP Dec 17, 2017

I combined them because they both represent the practice of living a life not guided by worship of a higher being.

Microsoft shshj Dec 17, 2017

Agnostics could be semi guided. An agnostic, roughly, is someone who believes that God exists with probability p where p is strictly greater than 0 and strictly less than 1. An agnostic may choose to take a Pascal's wager-esque approach to the whole thing based on their assessment of the probabilities.

And what are you gonna do with this poll??

Microsoft shshj Dec 17, 2017

I assume we're going to have scintillating and abstruse philosophical discussion.

Where my Jews at?

SEVENROOMS DEADB33F Dec 17, 2017

How about people who follow the religious tradition without the religious part (e.g. mostly secular)

Amazon Jeff Pesos OP Dec 17, 2017

Still religious. Abandoning it entirely e.g. Agnostic or Atheist is a pretty different thought process.

Where is Judaism you anti semites?

Apple bender-😒 Dec 17, 2017

Only 6.5 million Jews in the world and 14 million practitioners. Primal indigenous religions represent 300 mil. Based on the popularity it gets, you’d think Judaism would be huge.

Should be a category for culturally religious, aka not religious but still do the Christmas/Diwali/etc thing because that's what the family does.

Amazon looking4 Dec 17, 2017

It’s about belief man. If you believe there are Gods, reincarnation, and that kind if things then you’re not atheist. I also practice things in social setup for tradition or for just being friendly with my friends. That doesn’t make me non-atheist because I believe that all religions are just man made and natural by product of social evolution.
