Leasing an apartment starting Sep 1, when should I be in Seattle looking?
I start mid September, and I’m aiming for a 2bed/2bath close to downtown, with a lease starting September 1st. When is the best time for me to take a week long trip to Seattle, so as to maximize the number of apartments on the market for September 1st?

Renters are required to let landlords know they are not renewing their lease at least 20 days in advance so many apartments come on the market around the 10th of the month
2~3 weeks before. Most property management companies won’t hold an apartment for more than 2 or 3 weeks..
