What’s the comp range for a Google interaction designer?
Geez, you have to give a level and location you know
From what I was told, I won’t get a level until after the interview process. Currently in a Sr. Role. Looking in Seattle
Well it really depends how well you interview then. Bands is really broad if you don’t know your level. What level are you at your current company? You can make between $130-$200k+ base salary but that depends on your level. After you interview your re rioter will be able to tell you what your level is if you are a hire.
Thanks!
Way too much. Googles design org is by far the worst I’ve ever worked with.
Why do you say that? I’ve only heard good things.
Amazon and Microsoft understand design much much better. Google is super engineering driven and the design people here don’t know what they don’t know. It pays well and the perks are good, but you’d be working with people who are delusional about how good they think they are.
I had a similar experience at Google and left Google to join a startup 😂 Their design culture is definitely growing rapidly , but it is still engineering focus company.
