Best website to find good realtor?

Is there something like Yelp for realtors? I don’t trust the random realtor flyers they slip on my front door.

Ask a friend or colleague if they’ve used someone they like.

Word of mouth. Seattle or Bay Area? I know great ones on both.

Going to just leave this here. In case anybody is interested. It’s anonymous, so I don’t get any referral credit. I’ve used both of these realtors. For Seattle: https://www.windermere.com/agents/tammy-wallick For Bay Area: http://www.intelligentbuyer.com/

Referral from someone you know. Before choosing one, sit down with them and have a short interview. Understand what they’ll do for you, how they like to present offers, how familiar they are with certain neighborhoods. If you care about an areas demographics (e.g., ethnicity, young families, religion, etc.), find one who knows about that specifically. If you think the one you have isn’t doing their job, drop them and find a new one.

No such website exists. Good Realtors are rare. Talk to your friends who owns house and are happy with it...you might get lucky. Do your own research for any decision and use realtor data for cross validation only. If buying in area with bidding offers...pick the one with most experience and brand...like John l Scott or coldbain

Find the guy who sells more than anyone else in your little area. Because they sell more they know more non-public data about the offer stream. You know the place went for x but it matters to know the last place had 10 offers and the quality of each offer.
