A colleague started to wear a new fragrance to work. It smells so good and I really want to ask him which fragrance brand and model is he using, but i am too shy to do so. Would it be considered inappropriate to ask him? Any suggestions?
No. I'd be happy if some tells me "hey, smell good, what are you wearing?" I'd be super happy to share. Nothing inappropriate in that.
Yup it's not weird to ask unless of course you make it weird
I've had women and men approach me asking what kind of cologne I'm wearing. Nothing strange about that
What do you wear?
It's not weird to ask, but I personally believe that fragrance should be discovered, not announced. That is, if other people can smell you from an arm length away you've applied way too much. The scent should be subtle and noticed only at close proximity. Just my 2 cents.
Just don't send him a message telling him his COLON smells nice.
Just don't ask him seductively.
You will make his day if you ask him. Definitely do it. But don't "steal" the fragrance and make it your daily wear around him...
I'd say something like "That's a great cologne. What is it?" instead of something like "You smell good." The latter could be interpreted as a little creepy. But generally speaking, this seems fine to ask about.
It's only weird if you make it weird.
No. Im really into colognes and wear a lot. Happy to answer if ppl ask for mine
No one wants your cologne and everyone hates you
