Gonna have an onsite at google tomorrow, any suggestions about where I can visit after? Maybe some cool google buildings? Or should I try downtown SF instead?
I highly recommend the Computer History Museum, which should be walking distance
Do you drive or just go with uber? Sf probably better place to go for visit. MV is just old city
Computer History Museum is nice; check if it’s open after you are done with your interviews. You can visit Castro St/Mtn View downtown to get a feel of the area and dine in one of the many restaurants on Castro St.
I personally love the Stevens Creek trail overlooking NASA and shoreline lake. You can rent a paddle/Row boat and get on into the lake. I’d say a nice relaxing thing to do if you interview ends early before sunset. Post sunset - head out to Castro st, MTV. It’s a good lil spot. I love the sangrias and empanadas at Cascal, or just the friendly techy vibe at Bierhaus (the beers be so good). If all of this is too suburb-y; then head out to Mission street in SF - and have a blast of a time. No dearth of variety of things to do out there.
Go visit the city of Alviso
Not much in MV. Go to the city.
rancho san antonio for a nice walk or hike
Computer history museum is always nice. You can also visit the Android statues in Landings Dr.
