What’s your take on leetcode? Any organizational constraints keeping you or your team from implementing radical ideas? Why would I want to work at a FANG besides the compensation? How do you manage tech debt? What are the leading causes of “no hire” for an otherwise hirable candidate? Sorry in advance, could only tag 3 companies ;)
Radical ideas: heck my entire team exists for a radical idea that will likely not make it to launch. That said, you get only so much room to try something radical before you have to convince mgmt that it is worth investing in for longer, or adding heads, etc. And at Google, there is a heavy burden of privacy, security, etc right out of the gate. Important, but can get in way.
Why a FANG? Great IT and HR infrastructure - you focus on just doing stuff. Great people who you learn from all the time. Not very fiscally tight so room to try things that will likely fail. Crazy scale -- how do you build robust, massive systems that everything is going to try to hack? Etc.
Tech debt: like any other company. Constant pressure from PMs to build new features needs eng to offset with need to clean up as you go. Generally that is supported. Main way is to not make debt as you go -- eg always build tests for new code, refactor on the fly, etc. And Google requires 2 reviewers on each change; don't ever try to skimp on quality of reviews.
Leading cause of no hire: blowing two interviews of five. Or only doing OK and not blowing away any of the interviewers.

Leetcode: seems like a good way to practice coding questions. I will drill into your answers, and ask follow up / extension questions, so I don't care if you are leet-prepped.
